Ian MacPherson of the Canadian Social Economy Hub speaks about the Social Economy, including how is it applied in Canada and other parts of the world, and the degree of academic interest.

We present recordings of keynote speakers Dr. James Rowe and Dr. Noel Keough from "Flourishing With a Co-operative Economy". The event was presented by the South Islands Regional Co-operative Network (SIRCNet) with the support of the City of Victoria and held on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at City Hall in Victoria.

As part of the BCICS speaker series, Dr. Noel Keough presented a lecture entitled "A Culture of Sustainability: Re-embedding the Economy in Social Life and The Ecosphere" at UVic during Co-op Week 2009. Dr. Keough was introduced by Dr. Ana Maria Peredo, director of the BCICS.
